Mom finally got off the computer long enough to let us on. It has been forever since we got to post on our own blog.
We are finally doing better with all of our medical issues. Lady II recovered from her stroke and I recovered from that aweful haircut grandma tried to give me. Thankfully mom took me to the groomers to get it fixed.
We finally got to go to the dog park last weekend and we met a little Sheltie Luna, she is only 8 months old. She hung out with us like she was our baby or something.
Today mom took us for a new treatment on our hips. My hips have been so painful that mom keeps me doped up the majority of the time. It was some laser treatment, I am not sure about it yet, but we do have to go back Thursday for another round. Mom is happy because it is all free. Our doctor has some company there fo 2 weeks trying to sell them the equipment and they wanted to test it on us. It's not to bad.

RIP - "Big Daddy"
Mom and grandma had to take our big head feline friend to the shelter to get some long sleep in. He is a stray that fathered all the damn kittens they kept bringing into the house - in fact we still have 2 of his kittens if anyone want them :)
He didn't look this pretty this morning. It was real sad to see him all cut up and looking beat down. He must have met another tom cat that was stronger than him.
We hope Big Daddy is pain free and happy rolling in the endless supply of cat nip now.

Tough Week
Well it was a ruff week for both of us.
Sunday mom took Lady II to the fur salon and while she may have had a stroke, well, what our doctor thinks could have been one. I was sooo scared for her and so were our pesky cat siblings. Lady II looked and acted really drunk, she couldn't walk, sit, stand or anything but fall over. Mom watched over her all night and took her straight to the vet the next morning. She is doing better but recovering. It took her a bit to be able to walk again. She still falls over when going up or down a step or hill.
To make matters worst - look at what grandma did to me
For some reason the blind old lady thought I needed to be shaved down. She got half way through before mom got home and stopped her. Mom took me straight to the fur salon and they did their best to make me look pretty - not showing the final look until I get some fur on my butt. My letter to Santa Paws - I asked to keep mom on the nice list and put grandma on the naughty list :)

Key West Visit
Mom finally downloaded the pics from my friends Essex and Sherman's place. I had fun even though young Sherman tried to get me to play to much. It was a trip I really needed, felt so much better. I really did and again now miss Key West and Joe.

FIRE FIRE FIRE
Our dog neighbors lost everything in the early morning hours to a fire. Their entire house burnt down. Just when we thought the fire was out our human had to call the fire department to come back out because it sparked back up. It was really scary, fire trucks everywhere. Good news is our friends got all their humans out of the house to safety and no lives were lost, just memories. We are waiting to hear from them to see if we can help them out. We also made our human check our smoke detectors and we want you to do the same!

Dear Friend Bo (RIP)
Our Friend Bo lost the fight today to his cancer. He is now with our friend Deacon chasing squirrels and watching over us all. We Love You Bo
The Rainbow Bridge
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals that had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart. Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....
