It is with extreme sadness that I share the news of Lady's passing this evening. I asked her to hold on yesterday so that we could have her 14th Birthday Party and she did. She joins her sister, Lady II, and her Key West buds, Deacon and Essex.
Gracie is a little confused as to why everyone was crying and where Lady is.
Dog Dad and I were very sad to hear about Lady I crossing the bridge. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

So sorry to hear of your news. I read about it on the Rough collies group, on FB. It sounds like it was her time to go, and while it was very difficult for you, it was the right thing for her. Losing these four footed angels is one of the hardest things we have to deal with, they just don't live long enough.
ReplyDeleteWe heard about the passing of Lady I from Key West Collies. We are very sorry for your loss. Lady I sounds like a grand and wonderful girl. The collages of pictures are beautiful. Our hearts go out to you at this sad time.

ReplyDeleteVisiting from Key West Collies. We are so sorry to hear about Lady I. What a special dog she was. I know it's so hard. Hope Gracie and you are adjusting. It's a big loss.
ReplyDeleteWe didn't know Lady I but we're sorry her time came to leave. From the Key West Collies, we understand she had a good life. We hope the happy memories will help you through this time.
